We follow a daily and weekly cleaning schedule and also receive a professional deep clean once a month. If your child is not feeling well, please keep them home to avoid spreading contagious diseases and germs.

DRESS CODE
Our students participate in active physical play and sometimes messy art and science projects. Additionally, have your students:
-
Dress comfortably with sneakers and socks on. If they are wearing open-toe shoes please bring a change of sneakers AND socks.
-
Wear loose fitting clothing
-
Bring an oversized T-shirt to wear over clothing during art and science activities.
-
Remember that Explicit or suggestive language, symbols or art on clothing is prohibited.
-
Bring a change of clothing during water play days at the sprinklers
-
Know that it is hot. Please have your students practice good hygenie and grooming: combing/brushing/styling hair, brushing teeth and tongue, taking a bath/shower, using lotion and deodorant as needed.
NOTE- Camp T-Shirts must be worn during field trips.

OUTSIDE FOOD POLICY
Parents may send their child with meals and snacks in their original store-bought packaging. Ingredients must be clearly visible. Parents may also provide pre-packaged snacks for parties. Please let us know if you want to share a treat with the class in advance so we can notify the other families. We are a nut-free establishment. We do not serve pork. Please try to send healthy food and not junk food (ie. chips, soda, candy bars, etc.). Students can bring their own water bottle if they want.

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
We have a zero tolerance policy for students, that is against bullying, physical fights, aggressive behavior, the use of profanity, derogatory language, sexual harrassment, disrespectful tone of voice, threats, intimidating tactics and corporal punishment. Consequences include exclusion from field trips & events without a refund, suspension or expulsion from summer camp.

SUNSCREEN AND BUG SPRAY REPELLENT POLICY
Students will apply sunscreen twice a day, or as needed, with parent permission. Parents can supply sunscreen, or our center may supply generic, drugstore (OTC) sunscreen brands. You are welcome to provide bug spray repellent, we will just need you to complete a permission form.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS & ELECTRONICS POLICY
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PERSONAL BELONGINGS SUCH AS TOYS, WATER BOTTLES, LUNCH BAGS, BACKPACKS, POWER CORDS/CHARGERS, TECHNOLOGY OR OTHER ELECTRONICS, etc THAT ARE LOST, STOLEN OR OTHERWISE DAMAGED WHILE STUDENTS ARE IN OUR CARE. Students are not allowed to use their phones to make calls, go live on social media, facetime/video call anyone. Students may call their parents with supervision from a teacher or use the center phone to call parents.

ATTENDANCE AND LATENESS
Please let us know as soon as possible if your child(ren) will not be present. We want to have an accurate head count for meal preparation, staff scheduling and planned activities. We don't have a cut off time per se, but we want to get to the park before the noon sun hits. We leave the center around 9:30/10 am to get to the park.
